“For the sake of that, We have written on the Children of Israel that he who kills a soul – unless it is for murder of another soul or for corruption in the land – it is like he has killed the whole of humanity.
And he who revives a soul, it is like he has give life to the whole of humanity.” (Quran, 5:32)

The European Council of Imams extends its deepest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Türkiye, and to the families of the victims who fell as a result of this treacherous aggression and cowardly bombing that hit Istiklal Street in Istanbul.

The Council also prays for the speedy recovery for the injured.

Truly, we are unto God and unto Him, we shall return.
